We purchased the music system to replace our Bose Wave that no longer works. Over the years we have purchased several Bose products. We were disappointed the Wave System is basically obsolete.
Love the Tivoli CD player and sound. The sound quality is better than our Bose.
Not pleased with the radio, difficult to get in stations. Not a deal breaker because we will primarily use the CD player.
We recommend this CD System.

So far, so good. My previous unit is also Tivoli Audio, 3 physical boxes, two of them speakers labeled 'Model Two' and then a CD player labeled 'Model CD'. I can't find a date anywhere on it, but guess that it must be twenty five years old or more. This old unit still works ok, but is increasingly picky about what CDs it will accept. So I ordered this new unit, which came very well-packed and seems to play formerly-rejected CDs just fine. Thank you!

Purchased by and for my sister in law to replace an old, failed Bose Wave, I recommended and ordered this unit to play her beloved CDs in her kitchen. Its simplicity of design and function is just what she wanted, and she is delighted with the sound it produces and believes it to be even a bit better than her old Bose. What appears to be a very high price notwithstanding, she would like a second unit for another room in her home.
