Purchased by and for my sister in law to replace an old, failed Bose Wave, I recommended and ordered this unit to play her beloved CDs in her kitchen. Its simplicity of design and function is just what she wanted, and she is delighted with the sound it produces and believes it to be even a bit better than her old Bose. What appears to be a very high price notwithstanding, she would like a second unit for another room in her home.

I never had a chance to compare this to the Bose Wave we got rid of but I wish I had a chance to do an A/B test. It has very nice sound and so far does what it's supposed to do.

I find it difficult to understand the spoken word. We listen to MPR as our wake-up. I find it difficult to understand what is being said.
I have turned down the bass as low as it will go, with no difference. We have other places in the house wear I can hear speech very clearly. I think the amplifier or speakers are of poor quality. Is there anything I, or you, can do to improve the sound quality??

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. You mention that there are other places in your home that you can use the radio and hear things properly, is that so? In the spot with the bass distortion, is the Music System BT inside of a shelf, or otherwise boxed in?

Purchased to replace my Bose wave system. So far it does not disappoint. Sound quality and appearance are great. Overall it exceeds expectations.
