What power source do I need?
The PAL BT comes with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. Simply connect this cable to a USB-C PD compatible charger that is capable of delivering minimum 2.5 Watts and a maximum of 20 Watts. For the fastest charging, use a 20 Watt charger capable of delivering 9V / 2.2A.
How do I search for radio stations?
To find radio stations, simply turn the large tuning dial clockwise for higher frequency, counter-clockwise for a lower frequency.
How do I connect to Bluetooth?
Make sure your PAL BT is turned on and in Bluetooth Mode. Next, press the Pairing button located on the rear panel. Open the Bluetooth settings on your smart device and look for the “Tivoli PALBT3|xxxxx”. Select this to pair. You’ll hear a chiming noise once the connection is complete. You’ll only need to follow this process once. After you’ve paired for the first time, you’ll see the PAL BT listed in your Bluetooth devices every time it’s turned on in Bluetooth mode.
I’m unable to pair via BT.
Start by turning your PAL BT off, and then on again. Turn the Source knob to BT mode. Press the Pairing button located on the Rear Panel. Next, turn the BT off and then on again on your smart device. Now look for the PAL BT in your list of available devices.
Can I play the PAL BT while it’s charging?
Yes! You can use the PAL BT while it’s charging. Please note that the batteries may charge more slowly while the PAL BT is in use.
Can I connect my PAL BT to other speakers?
The PAL BT is designed to be a standalone speaker. It is not intended to be used with other speakers.
How long does the battery last?
The average battery life is about 14 hours on a single charge. Please note this can change depending on the audio source and volume setting.
Is the PAL BT waterproof?
The PAL BT is water resistant, but not waterproof. Take it to the pool, but don’t throw it in.
How do I change the battery?
The rechargeable battery does not need to be changed, only recharged.
What do the blinking lights mean?
- Blinking green while plugged in: Charging
- Blinking green while in use: Low Battery
- Solid green while not plugged in but in use: Sufficient Charge
