Tivoli Audio has teamed up with pro basketball player Tacko Fall on a limited-edition Andiamo Bluetooth Speaker. A portion of profits from each speaker purchase will be donated to Black Lives Matter to aid in the fight for equity.
About the Design & Collaboration
Pro basketball player Tacko Fall sat down with Paul DePasquale (CEO), at this year's All-Star weekend to discuss what his limited-edition product would look like. The two met last year at the Tivoli Audio Showroom and Shop in Boston, and immediately began discussing possible collaboration ideas. When getting down to it, we asked Tacko what his ideal custom product would be. Instantly he said it needed to be something anime or something inspired by his home, Senegal.
ANIME TACKO
Tacko shared with us his love for anime and why he felt so inspired by the storylines and characters. He had clear ideas of what his anime persona would be, even down to clothes he would wear and style. We collaborated with illustrator and cartoonist, Vincent Bekong, to bring Tacko's anime personality to life. With a basketball, two swords, and a Senegalese headband, we present to you Tacko!
COLORFUL SENEGAL
Next, we started working with Tacko to create a design pattern that incorporated the Senegalese flag. Tacko and our internal design team collaborated to produce this colorful geometric pattern paying tribute to his home country. This limited-edition design will brighten up your mood while you listen to your music all summer long.
THE LIMITED EDITION
Tacko selected the Andiamo Bluetooth speaker to place these designs on since it is perfect for taking to the court, working out, and on the road with its portable playback, light aluminum housing, and simple carry strap.
