    I do like it, though I am curious how much better it could become with a firmware update.

    The radio does as described, and works great with Apple Play 2 -- my primary use of it. I also listen to FM radio in the AM, and it does that well, too.

    The menus are of course wonky, the auto-time setting on various smart-radio stations doesn't work, and the capture of the power on take a good 10 seconds - perhaps all curable by a firmware update? Don't know. Please consider!

    Ok, due to remote issues

    Only small things I do not like.

    1.the remote is underwhelming and must be pointed directly at the device My previous radio remote was more forgiving

    2, the review about the sound having too much bass is accurate. Not currently an issue

    3. Radio reception and size are perfect.

    Overall, I’m guessing this is the best out there to do all the stuff in the this size and price range. If the remote worked better this would be a 5star review.

    Update on alarm problem

    With help from product support, I “rebooted” the operating system and now the radio alarm is working. Sound quality is very good and with a little effort the radio has earned another star.

    Good but can’t get alarm to work

    I just received and set up my MOD Gen 2 and like it’s sound and Bluetooth connectivity. I bought it essentially for the clock radio so I can wake up to NPR news, however bad it may be. I (full disclosure OK Boomer) managed to set clock, enable WiFi, Bluetooth, set alarm, and activate the alarm. But so far, no alarm function. What am I missing? More directions would be helpful for those of us. More stars if I can get the alarm to work.
