Boston Calling Music Festival has been kicking off the summer season for New England since 2013. After the Covid pandemic caused venues to shutter, bands to stop touring, and festivals to cancel, we were left with a world without live music unless you caught a live stream by your favorite artist or an outdoor concert. But now, after 2 years, Boston Calling is back, and we are excited to be supporting regional artists by sponsoring the Tivoli Audio Orange Stage.
Among the local acts performing on the Tivoli Audio Orange Stage are Boston born and Burlington, VT based folk artist, Ali McGuirk; Brockton, MA’s electrifying rap collective, Van Buren Records; Boston Music Awards 2020 R&B Artist of the Year and Boston-based Miranda Rae; and Boston’s own Aaron and the Lord, the talented indie rock duo with deep local music ties. Rounding out the Tivoli Audio Orange Stage schedule are local and regional artists Born Without Bones, Avenue, The Chelsea Curve, Coral Moons, Dutch Tulips, Cam Meekins, Crooked Coast, and Paper Tigers.
Tivoli Audio and its employees have long been fans of Boston Calling Music Festival. Through the years it has evolved into one of the premier music festivals in New England. As we attempt to return to normal, many local bands are coming out of lockdown to a very different landscape for touring and exposing new people to their music. Tivoli Audio is happy to be a part of the return of Boston Calling and local artists.
Stay tuned into Tivoli Selects to learn more about some of these local acts and hear their music before the festival.
